Museveni finally 'approves' 2024/25 budget

President Museveni assented to the bill

President Museveni assented to the bill

President Yoweri Museveni has finally assented to the Appropriation Bill that was passed by parliament in April.

Appropriation Bill is the other name for the budget that lays out how government is going to raise money and how it intends to spend it.

Last week, Museveni declined to assent to the bill, accusing the MPs of altering his government’s priorities by reallocating Shs 750 billion. On Tuesday this week, MPs amidst sharp resistance, amended the bill to take care of Museveni’s interests.

A statement from the Presidential Press Unit (PPU), noted that Museveni signed the bill today Thursday.

“PPU wishes to inform the general public that the President…has signed the Appropriation Bill, 2024 (reconsidered) into law. The President assented to the bill today, Thursday, 4th July 2024,” the short statement reads.

There were worries that the country had entered a new financial year that begun on July 1 without an approved budget.

So the 2024/2025 is Museveni's personal selfish budget

In other words, because "his budget" has been approved the way he wanted it to be.

What a professional mufele (conman) as the president of a country called Uganda! Eyeballing everybody including the entire NRM MPs into submission and humiliation

If e.g. Roko has been in existence since Obote I, during Amin's era of terror and murder, and Obote II administration respectively (bad/backward leadership) and Roko Construction Company did not cry out loud for bailout; except concealed mischief, why should Roko do so, under a progressive leadership of "our Problem of Africa"?

God where are you because, 7 years ago on 26th January the Gen Tibuhaburwa told Ugandans off in the presence of International Diplomats and Madam Pinetti inclusive; that he is neither our servant nor employee.

Therefore what right thinking Ugandan can still believe that; Mr. M7 is in our State House: eating free food, free socks, free transport, free airtime, free water, free electricity etc. at our expense, therefore whatever he decides and does, is in our best interest?

NYET!

Roko and Pinetti (Lubowa fake specialized hospital project) are one and the same that have joined forces with our "Problem of Africa" a diabolic fascist, Al Mussolini, to rob us clean and blind.

What a shithole country we are in!
