Fast X is the first of a two-part story expected to close out the Fast and the Furious franchise.
The tenth entry in the series introduces Jason Momoa’s Dante, a madman on a quest for vengeance, hellbent on destroying everything Dom knows and loves.
Critics have not been kind to the film, assigning it a Rotten Tomatoes critic rating of 54 per cent. At 85 per cent, the audience rating is still healthy. But the movie just debuted.
The audience score may fall as more reviews come in. From the reviews, it sounds like Fast X is just as outrageous and shallow as its predecessors. But franchise fans can watch the movie in cinemas today.
